Urhobo Voice: The national secretary of Urhobo Youth Leader Association (UYLA) Olorogun Vincent Oyibode says that the Federal Government of Nigeria has no excuse to delay the setting up of a dialogue team of its pronouncement in the Niger Delta, stressing that the UYLA declares total support and loyalty to Pan Delta Forum (PANDEF).

In a statement made available to Urhobo Voice, UYLA said all genuine and visible agitating groups, ethnic nationalities and stakeholders of the Niger Delta region have endorsed PANDEF adding that the militant attacks snowballed into another crisis in the already volatile Niger Delta.

According to him, “We are aware that the enemies within and outside the Niger Delta are using Mike Loyibo to cause division in the region. Such trend will make the Federal Government to come up with the excuse that they don’t know who to deal with on the discussions that relate to the development and peace in the region”.

“we want to use this medium to advise some traditional rulers whose ways are questionable to be careful. They should stop allowing themselves to be used for their selfish reason which is capable of causing disgrace to their royalty”. [urhobo-voice]

The statement added; I want to advise Mike Loyibo to desist from the antics of betraying the genuine struggle of the Niger Delta by PANDEF because it has been accepted by all as a regional organization, not an Ijawaffairs.

Mike Loyibo should think first on how he can be relevant in his local Government Area, the Ijaw nation before graduating to the entire Niger Delta region”.

Chief Edwin Clark, OFR, CON is the national leader of PANDEF and the forum is a non-partisan, non-religious and independent organization that accommodates all persons.
