Social Democratic Party Now Ready To Rescue Nigeria

Social Democratic Party SDP, Delta State Chairman, Amb. Okeh Idawene (JP) who also doubles as the Chairman Forum of State Chairmen of the Social Democratic Party, has said that the his party is poised at making a good outing with the launched of it operational strategy tagged “Operation take over Delta State and Nigeria.”

The Social Democratic Party Chairman, Idawane who revealed this during the state executive meeting at the party’s secretariat in Asaba, noted that the move is targeted at taking over the presidency and governorship of Delta State in 2019 general elections.

He stressed that “Social Democratic Party is the new political order” that is second to none in the nation following the recent evident political revolution, adding that the party is fully on ground in Delta State and cuts across all 25 local government areas.

“The people are scrambling to join this new political order including the creme-dé-la-creme’s of the nation at all levels.”

Speaking further, Amb. Idawene who said PDP has not performed badly in Delta State, stressed that SDP is here to do better taking cognizance of the fact that SDP is rooted on true federalism, devolution of power, food and light for the nation, jobs for the masses and security for the masses, which are areas where both PDP and APC have failed beyond recognition, insisting that the Social Democratic Party is here to practice, true federalism and take the country Nigeria to greater heights in Africa and beyond.

Amb Idawene further said Social Democratic Party is fully in support of the not too young to rule bill and has better integrated youths into the political system, adding that SDP will continue to encourage and field more youths at different levels alongside women to enable them pursue their political ambitions.

The Chairman further charged members of the executive at all levels not to relent from their good works adding:

“When you go back home and continue your good deeds as we prepare to take over Delta State and Nigeria in extension, we should promote peace, stability and ensure at all levels and that no executive or leader should engage in selling of their rights following the recent migration of other party faithfuls to the new political order as “money is nothing; Good name is better than wealth” he added.
