Olorogun Otega Emerhor is a beacon of hope to Delta state as well as Urhobo nation, just as his simplicity, integrity, honesty and strong commitment has placed him at a vantage position give direction.
This was disclosed by Chief Omah Tadafe, member of Urhobo Leaders of Thought Forum, while presenting a souvenir on behalf of the group to Olorogun Otega Emerhor during his 60th birthday celebration in Evwreni.
He described Olorogun Emerhor as the Chief Mukoro Mowoe of our time.
Chief Tadafe said that Otega Emerhor is the man who saw tomorrow with a mission and vision to uplift Nigeria, Delta State and Urhobo nation even as he described him like an Aristotle who saw tomorrow and prepares for it.
Presenting the souvenir, Chief Tadafe who was ‘flanked by Chief Tuesday Onoge, chairman of the forum, Alhaji Mumakai Unagha, secretary, Margeret Obiku and Elder Uba, Chief Tadafe noted that Olorogun Emerhor is a distinguished light that illuminates which cannot be extinguished.
He called on all Urhobos to rally round him adding that he is the beacon of hope to Delta State and Urhobo in particular.
Also speaking, Chief Onoge noted that Olorogun Emerhor is a source of hope to the hopeless with a solid back ground backed by humility and honesty.
According to Chief Tadafe, “as a shining example with exemplary character, Otega Emerhor is a leader worth emulating. He is a gift from God working for the betterment of mankind.”
In his brief response, Olorogun Emerhor commended the Forum for their magnanimity just as he assured them of his continued support.
Those present during the presentation includes Chief Tuesday Onoge, Alhaji Mumakai Unagha, Elder Domatus Uba, Margeret Obiku, Edna Iwhiwhu and Chief Jolly Ogbe amongst others.
