Comrade Jonathan stated this during the presentation of his stewardship account of two years leadership as President General of Ibruvwe Development Union.

He commended the elder’s council and every member of the union who contributed immensely to the success of his administration, urging them to still do the same for the incoming executive for the growth and development of the union.

Fighting, litigation and quarreling will never move the Union forward because where there is crisis, development cannot come.”

“The community/family is financially down because we only depend on the Freedom To Operate (FTO), a document which they always signed with contractors to the Oil companies operating in the clan.”
“Why there is no much development and progress in the Union is because our brothers from the outside Kokori has distanced themselves from any of the family activities. This is because we value money more than development. ”
While going through the expenditure of his tenure, he said that, the total money in the account of the Ibruvwe Development Union cannot be ascertain as he maintained that, the outgoing treasurer of the Union, Obukowho Ewharare is with an undisclosed amount of the Union money and however pleaded with the Elders council and every members of the Union to exercise patience till when the treasurer will be available to provide the money.
