Ahead of the 2019 general election, Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly Apex Chamber, Senator Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege has declared that APC will kick out PDP and unseat the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa from Delta State in 2019.
Senator Ovie Omo-Agege speaking with newsmen during the elaborate meeting held at his country home Orogun in Ughelli NorthLocal Government Area, Delta State recently in favour of the gallant councilors and LG chairman APC candidates across the 25 Local Government Area of Delta State said PDP will be easy to remove in 2019 based on the effort of the gallant and confrontation exhibited by the Delta State APC candidates.
He said that APC won the election hand down if not for the fact that they were robbed by those he described as “Asaba Gangster” he said, as the highest elected political icon of the party in the state, it beacon on him to host all his gallantly for the party and participated in the election rather than limiting in to Delta Central alone.
He expressed his support for any APC councillorship candidates who may want to go to the election tribunal, adding that, before the election was conducted there are case in the court relating to conduct of the election.
“Boycotting the election in two LGA, was the decision of the party which was in order in the right direction since the party is supreme.”
While lambasting the PDP, Governor Okowa for using ward chairmen, PDP card carriers, Delta Security men and local Government chairmen of the party PDP to do the job of electoral officers and returning officers he vowed that APC is going to use all legal machinery to reverse the charade Local Poll conducted by DESIC. “
We are going to do everything legally to ensure that this illegal selection in Delta State does not stand, for those who have gone to tribunal we are going to encourage them and I can assure you that this charade election in Delta will not stand.”
He assured the people of Delta State central that, the best is yet to come adding that they should continue to support him as they are doing and he is going to do more for them as he moves ahead.
