The Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) Delta State, Prophet Jones Erhue has disclosed that his party ‘s security committee for the January 6th, 2018 local government council elections is comprised of 27 retired military generals.
Erhue who made the disclosure in APC campaign Congress flag in Warri, Warri South assured that the party is very prepared to protect its votes during and after the council elections vowed that APC will match intimidation with intimidation in the elections even as disclosed that the state party leadership will provide some levels of funding to the party Chairmanship and councillorship candidates directly to them and not through intermediaries for the forthcoming local government council elections.”
We are very much concern about the council elections because our performance in the elections will determine our performance in 20 19 general elections So have your PVCs ready and be prepare to vote for the only candidate which is APC.
Tell your neighbours that the time has come for change” APC governorship aspirant, Olorogun Osiobe Okotie in his address at the event stated that he was born and brought up in Warri and as such solicited for the support of APC Warri members for his governorship ambition and also vote for all the APC candidates in the forthcoming local government council elections.”
So that they can deliver us in 2019″. The Warri South Chairman of the party Prince Valentine Egbe had earlier in his speech stated that the rally that was held in Warri before the campaign flag off showed the preparedness of the party towards the local government council elections.
Others who spoke at the event include Barrister Omasan, Agbajor, Chief Omawumi Urhobo, Chief Adelabu Bodjor, Hon Ogodo and a host of other party leaders in the state
The Councillorship candidate of the party for Otor Orere Ward Comrade Lawson Okumagba who stormed the event with his teaming supporters expressed joy over the success of the party’s campaign flag off.
Similarly, the party’s chairmanship candidate for Warri South, Hon Eworitse Ufuoma Ugburo and his vis Hon Yoke Omagbemi in a separate media chats with newsmen at the event expressed optimism that APC will win the council elections in Warri South.
They however called on the people of the area to vote massively for APC to restore the lost glory of Warn.
