APC Members Urged To Work For Party – Okpako


The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Ethiope East Local Government area of Delta State, Chief Solomon Okpako has called on the APC members in the local government to be focus and continue to work for the party at all times saying that the People Democratic Party (PDP) will be kicked out this time around.

Chief Okpako who stated this during an enlarge meeting of APC which took place in Abraka ward 2, posited that the issue of Steven Eruotor who has been parading himself as the Chairman of APC in the local government is a forgone issue for a very long time adding that all the leaders and the 11 wards Chairmen in the local government are with him.

Speaking to Urhobo Voice news men shortly after the meeting, Chief Okpako said “we called this meeting today to discuss how the party, APC  can move forward in the local government, because our aims is to make sure that we win all the seats in the forthcoming general elections.”

On the issue of selection of aspirant for any of the positions in the next election, Chief Okpako maintained that APC will projects credible, tested and trusted candidate in which every members of the party will support to defeat PDP.

The issue of imposition of candidate will not be the party agenda because our target is to make sure that APC win from the Federal to the grassroots level.”

While saying that APC in Ethiope East is much stronger in the local government, Chief Okpako however use this medium to commend the leaders, elders, the executive and members of the party for their efforts in the local government urging them to remain united assuring that APC will surely take over the mantle of leadership in the local government and the state at large.

Other executive members of the ward in the local government including faithful members who also spoke to Urhobo Voice news men said, Chief Solomon Okpako remains the Chairman of the party in the local government, stressing that they will continue to work with him for the growth and development of the party in the local government.
